On January 6th through the 10th I will be in Denver, Colorado training with my friends Matt Jubera (center in pic as new brown belt) and Seth Smith (left in pic as a new purple belt). Matt is now a Saulo Ribeiro black belt and is in the process of opening up his BJJ academy in Longmont, CO in February. Check out his website here: Dark Horse BJJ. Seth is now a Saulo Ribeiro brown belt at the Detroit and Toledo SRJJA academies and is about to set off on a career in the military. I intend to train hard while in Colorado and bring back a ton of great stuff to add to our training.I will be missing the January 7th and 9th classes. Jeff will be running these classes and reviewing what we went over before and after the Holiday break (turtle attacks - clock chokes, rollovers, getting hooks, etc.; turtle defenses - getting guard, defending clock chokes, defending hooks, etc.; turtle counter attacks/sweeps - sitting guard, rollovers, step behinds; no-gi reviews of ten finger guillotines, etc.). I will be back for the January 12th class. Make sure you're there!
